Propecia Side Effects
Some of the serious side effects of Generic Propecia are listed below. Call for immediate medical help if you experience any of the following Propecia Side Effects.
- Breathing problem
- Choking of the throat
- Swelling of lips, tongue
- Swollen face
- Hives.
Some of the less serious Propecia Side Effects are listed below. The below mentioned side effects have been reported but fade away along with the treatment. You can carry on taking Propecia, but inform your doctor if you experience any of the following Propecia Side Effects:-
- Decreased sex drive
- Low volume of ejaculation
- Trouble getting or maintaining an erection
- Breast tenderness or enlargement
If you experience any side effect which is not listed above and becomes bothersome, inform your doctor immediately.
Propecia and Pregnancy
Generic Propecia is MALE ONLY medication not to be used by women. Propecia is in the FDA pregnancy category X. Women who are conceiving or planning to become pregnant are advised STRICTLY NOT TO handle broken or crushed tablets of Propecia. Propecia might get absorbed by the skin. Propecia is known to cause birth defects in developing male embryo. Contact with Propecia tablets must be avoided in all possible situations. However, exposure to the whole tablet is not harmful unless swallowed.
